Bristol-based Bailey has announced the return of the Autograph, with prices starting from £89,999 for a range which is now in its fourth generation.
Having originally been dropped in early 2024, the four-model range has returned on the Peugeot Boxer, an AL-KO AMC chassis and with a 2.2 litre 180bhp engine. The motorhomes will be well-suited to fans of off-grid motorhoming, thanks to their two 95 Ah AGM batteries and a 200-watt Truma solar panel.
However, depending on the model you opt for, you will need to make sure you know what driving licence you need to drive the motorhome, with MTPLMs ranging from 3500-4500kg.
First up is the two-berth 72-2, a 7.29m long ‘van with an MTPLM of 3500kg, an MiRO of 3226kg, and a payload of 274kg.

Coming with an L-shaped lounge, the berths are provided by an electrically operated multi-position drop-down bed, while the rear of the motorhome comes with a large washroom, complete with a separate shower and wardrobe, as well as internal access to the garage. There is also the option of getting the van upgraded to a plate of 4500kg, at which point you get a payload of 1274kg, but would also need a C1 licence.
For fans of island bed motorhomes, there is the 74-4I, a four-berth model with an MTPLM of 4500kg, a MiRO of 3493kg, a payload of 1007kg, and an OTR price of £92,749.

It features a retractable rear island bed, a central washroom, and an L-shaped front lounge with twin travel seats, which can be turned into the remaining two berths.
The 79-4T is another four-berth with an OTR price of £92,749 and MTPLM of 4500kg, but with a MiRO of 3492kg and a payload of 1008kg.

This time, the motorhome comes with raised rear twin single beds, which can be turned into a double bed if desired, while the travel seats in the L-shaped front lounge can be converted into a double bed too.
Both the 74-4I and 79-4T have an overall length of 7.95m and have four travel seats.
Those looking for the best 6 berth motorhome could be interested in the final model in the range, the Autograph 81-5. Coming to 8.13m long and with five travel seats, the 81-5 has an OTR price of £93,999, and it also comes with a MTPLM of 4500kg, a MiRO of 3587kg, and a payload of 913kg.

The motorhome comes with two electrically operated multi-position drop-down beds, one at the front of the ‘van and the other at the rear, while a further double bed can be made up in the rear U-shaped lounge. It also features a central washroom and an L-shaped front lounge, as well as five travel seats.
To drive the 74-4I, 79-4T, or the 81-5, you will need a C1 licence.
Unusually, each model in the range comes with a swing-out pedestal table, meaning that you don’t have to bother with hauling out a really heavy foldaway table if it’s just the two of you.
The motorhomes also include an impressive rear garage, complete with double-doors, heating, lighting, and power sockets.
Fans of winter motorhoming will be pleased to hear the Autograph range comes with an Alu-Tech Bodyshell and an Alde heating and hot water system, while the models offer a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a 137-litre Thetford absorption fridge, a dual-fuel hob with an electric hotplate and three gas burners, a combined oven and grill, and a flatbed microwave.
The cab comes equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and rear-view reversing camera, while a SONOS speaker with built-in Alexa and a wireless charging pad are among other new features to be found inside the ‘vans.
The four-model range is set to be on display at the upcoming October NEC Show, where visitors to the Bailey stand will be able to view the motorhomes. For those who are yet to buy their ticket to the 2025 event, don’t miss our Motorhome and Caravan Show discount code.
