Mobilvetta has just launched two new rear-lounge motorhomes and they could be ideal for fans of creature comforts on tour

Those of you who like your creature comforts on tour may well be drawn to this pair of four-berth Mobilvettas on the Marquis Leisure stand at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show this week (17th-22nd February), as they both offer easy-to-use electric drop-down beds, smart washrooms and top-of-the-range Alde 4000 diesel heating.

Take your pick from the low-profile Kea 80 (£89,995) and the A-class K Yacht 80 (£109,995), both of which have Fiat Ducato 140BHP automatic engines and could appeal to fans of the best rear lounge motorhomes.

The two new motorhomes follow in the footsteps of the Kea Kompakt 55, which launched at the October NEC Show and impressed us enough to be named the best motorhome under 7m at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2026.

We liked the spacious rear garages with easy access, water point and light, and the two-burner and electric induction hotplate hob cookers. But it’s the spacious living areas, convenient drop-down beds and excellent Alde diesel heating systems with continuous hot water that really impress.

The drop-down bed at the rear sits above the U-shaped lounge and drops to the level of the seating, making for plenty of overhead space and negating the need for a ladder. Meanwhile, at the front there’s another drop-down bed above a table which can be unfolded to double in size.

There’s plenty of overhead storage and a good-sized washroom, with a neat swinging wall to allow for a roomy shower. The belted seats in the front lounge area (which in combination with the cab seats make four belted seats in total) also make the best use of the space and are easy to transform from lounging to in-transit position.

The colour scheme is a creamy white throughout, and that in combination with well-placed lighting, including overhead Heki, makes it bright and adds to the feeling of spaciousness With both models having the same MTPLM and similar payloads, it really is a case of personal preference and, of course, budget – the A-Class K Yacht 80 is some £20K more expensive than the Kea 80 low profile.

Some prefer the build quality and all-round finish of an A-class, and we thought the K-Yacht cab feels more spacious with better all-round visibility, but in terms of finish and spec there’s little to choose between these two.

Joining these motorhomes in debuting at the Show this week is the new end washroom Auto-Trail F-line F67, which comes with a front lounge with parallel seating and an optional drop-down bed. Also appearing for the first time are two new additions to the Bailey Autograph line-up, one of which was so spacious inside that we had to check we hadn’t stepped into a caravan.
