Take a look inside five of our favourite campervans from the February NEC Show

There’s no getting away from the number of exciting releases that are entering the campervan market at the moment, with both converters and manufacturers launching models with excellent specs and plenty of innovative features.

One of the easiest ways to see these models is to head to one of the bi-annual shows held at the NEC, where a wide range of brands and conversion companies will showcase their latest releases. For those who are on the hunt for the best campervan, but were unable to attend the recent February Show, take a look inside these five vehicles we’ve seen recently.

This includes models from Malibu, Knaus, Mega Mobil, Aura and Ace. For ease, you can also jump to a specific one via the links below. You can also check out two of our recent campervan reviews, including the Ford Transit-based WildAx Equinox and the Panama P10E.

The Mercedes Sprinter-based Malibu genius performance 4×4 641 LE is an off-road campervan which provides a comfortable lounge, a kitchen with good workspace, and huge single beds, as well as two 110W solar panels and two 150Ah lithium batteries.

The washroom is another good space, providing a good area for a shower as the toilet can slide away and the wash basin can be folded up.

A useful optional extra is the extra shelving you can get at the rear too, ideal for those who want some good campervan storage options in their leisure vehicle.

You can also see our full review of another ‘van from the brand, the 2025 Malibu Genius 641 LE.

  • Width: 2.26m

The GL is part of the three-model Ace 1200 range, with the brand returning at the NEC with all of its campervans on display to the public for the first time.

The campervan comes with a rear transverse bed, and beneath it, a storage area can be found. The GL also provides a large washroom, so could be worth a look if you’re on the hunt for the best 2 berth campervan with a shower and toilet. Here, you get a Thetford electric flush toilet, a fold-away basin, and, unusually for a more entry-level model, two drainage holes.

It also features a kitchen with a two-burner stainless steel hob, a flatbed microwave oven, an 80-litre compressor fridge, and the ‘van has Whale underfoot 6KW heating. While a two-berth as standard, the GL is also available as a four-berth too.

  • Length: 5.99m
  • Width: 2.04m
  • MTPLM: 3500kg
  • MiRO: 3040kg
  • Payload: 460kg

For fans of VW campervans, this new model from Aura could be worth a look. It is the first Crafter-based camper from Aura, which in itself is still a relatively new brand, having only launched around 18 months ago.

Inside, the front dinette can be customised, as the real leather upholstery is available in a range of colours.

The small basin in the washroom means you get good space for showering, while the kitchen also includes a tap which wouldn’t look out of place in a stylish apartment. At the rear, a transverse bed resides, with bits scooped out of the wall to make it that bit longer, while the garage area can be accessed beneath.
