Sunlight is launching a four-model low-profile range for the 2027 season, with much focus given to providing extra storage for adventure seekers.

The UNLTD range is based on a Ford Transit, and three of the four models in the range have a face-to-face front lounge.

The one that doesn’t, the T7003S, is a motorhome under 7m long and still manages to include a washroom with a swinging partition and fixed single beds in the rear. The 7m-long T7033P, meanwhile, includes an electrically lowered drop-down bed as well as a standard larger washroom and a large storage space at the rear.

The remaining two vehicles in the range are both 7.4m long. For those on the hunt for the best motorhome with fixed single beds, there is the T7433S, which has them at the rear, while the T7433Q has an island bed. Both also feature a drop-down bed over the front lounge.

The launch comes just a month after the German company, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, launched a two-model off-range, combining a new model with a reworked special edition from its existing Cliff range.

Sunlight claims the new IBEX range is an example of how an entry-level brand can still develop “progressive off-road vehicles”.

The IBEX 604D started life as a concept car but now emerges as a 6m-long commercial vehicle based on VW Crafter. The first ever Sunlight vehicle to feature automatic transmission as standard, it also has four-wheel drive, a 163hp engine, and a reinforced roof with an integrated awning.

An off-road package will get you a light bar, Delta 4×4 tyres, and a premium off-road step. Interior headroom is close to 2m, and you will also find a 2m-long transverse bed at the rear and a pull-out fridge in the kitchen that can easily be accessed from outside and inside.

Its sister model, the IBEX 603D, meanwhile, is a reworking of the existing Cliff 4×4 Greentrek, and is based on a Ford Transit with a 165hp engine. Standard spec includes an awning, a Ford Raptor grille, and black Delta 4×4 Klassik 17-inch alloy wheels with high traction off-road tyres.

It too has internal headroom close to 2m as well as a panoramic roof hatch.

German manufacturers Carthago and Malibu have also both been sharing their 2027 season plans. Carthago has announced it will be adding a new Mercedes Sprinter-based C2 layout for the upcoming season, while its liner classes are also being upgraded. Malibu has said it is adding an extra Relax model to its Fiat Ducato-based range as well.
