Camperking launches new VW T7-based campervan

A new VW T7-based campervan with three seats in the back has been launched by Camperking, with a starting price of £59,500 OTR.

The T7 Go!, available on both short wheelbase and long wheelbase models, is diesel heated and the VW campervan also includes a twin hob, 50-litre Vitrifrigo fridge freezer, and a 95Ah AGM leisure battery.

Other features include Camperking’s Titan bed, a pop-up roof, and a 20-litre onboard water tank.

Optional extras include upgrades on body kit, furniture, upholstery, flooring and colour combinations.

Camperking, which has branches in the Midlands, the North East and London, is aiming to get type approval on the vehicle – which would mean it could be registered as a “motorcaravan” for tax purposes – in the next few months. The vehicle is also covered by VW’s five-year service warranty.

Camperking group marketing manager Stuart Kidman said the company has worked hard to keep the price of the new vehicle competitive, “given the current pressures on home finances”.

He added: ‘The T7 Go! has all the comfort, reliability and build quality of our customer-favourite conversion. We think it will appeal to cost-conscious customers. We’ll be taking it to campervan, caravan and motorhome consumer shows this summer so people can have a close-up look for themselves.”

Another brand to launch new ‘vans recently is Frankia. The German manufacturer has announced it is updating its Neo range for 2027, with A-class liners to be released, while three Fiat-based models will be available as Final Edition special editions.
