The best motorhome with a garage will provide you with valuable storage space when you’re on tour, allowing you to load your ‘van with those tour-enhancing accessories that can make a big difference when you’re on the road.
A ‘van with a good garage will be one of the best motorhomes for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits when they’re pitched up, providing useful space for transporting accessories such as bikes.
The best motorhomes with a garage will be set apart by not only providing good storage, but also coming with a great spec throughout, so you can enjoy comfortable touring. Of course, you will have to take care when loading your motorhome and make sure you know your motorhome weights too, so you don’t end up with an overladen ‘van.
Here, we’re sharing our top picks from the past couple of seasons from the many motorhomes we’ve reviewed, featuring models from Coachman, Adria, Mobilvetta, and more.
As an alternative, you could also think of getting a motorhome bike rack fitted if your current or dream ‘van doesn’t have a garage that quite meets your needs.

The best motorhomes with a garage

Adria Compact Supreme DL
- Year: 2026
- Price: £78,640
- Sleeps: 3
- Belts: 4
- Base vehicle: Fiat Ducato
- Length: 6.99m
- Width: 2.12m
- MTPLM: 3500kg
- MiRO: 2840kg
- Payload: At least 437kg
Reason to buy:
- It’s Adria’s best-selling UK model for a reason
Reason to avoid:
- Kitchen workspace isn’t the best, cassette loo access placement
The Compact Supreme DL is Adria’s best-selling model in the UK, and we think it’s a motorhome which works well for couples who enjoy short trips away.
The Fiat Ducato-based motorhome is very smart and comes with a huge garage, which will give you plenty of space for taking gear with you. The ‘Compact’ in its name actually refers to its width, as it’s actually a motorhome under 7m. However, one thing we will point out is where the cassette loo access is; it’s right by the habitation door, so it would be inside any driveaway awning you put up.
Step inside and there’s a comfortable lounge at the front, with owners able to sit back on the parallel seating and relax in the nicely lit area, thanks to a large sunroof and good nighttime lighting.
We like how there’s an extractor fan, helping to limit any overpowering smells when you’re cooking in the compact ‘van. The kitchen is another well-lit area, with a three-burner gas-only hob, a combined oven and grill, and an 84-litre Thetford compressor fridge, although workspace is limited.
Step inside the tambour door, and you will find two drainage holes (which we always like to see), with the dividing partition for the shower held in place by a magnet.
The two rear beds will provide plenty of space, coming to just under 2m long, and should you decide you’d rather use it as a double bed, you can, thanks to a pull-out panel and a cushion. Then the third berth can be made up in the dinette by lowering the table and using infill cushions.
Storage includes small wardrobes found under the foot of each bed, along with a drawer in the steps, which can be usefully accessed from the garage.

Coachman Sportivo 565
- Year: 2026
- Price: £113,710
- Sleeps: 2
- Belts: 4 (on test vehicle, 2 as standard)
- Base vehicle: Mercedes Sprinter
- Length/width/height: 7.45m
- Width: 2.39m
- MTPLM: 3500kg
- Payload: 450kg
Reason to buy:
- A clever self-emptying shower, comfy beds, impressive lighting system
Reason to avoid:
- Kitchen spec is a bit basic
For those who want a luxurious motorhome with two berths, the Coachman Sportivo 565 could be well worth a look. It’s the brand’s first motorhome with an MTPLM of 3500kg, so it can be driven without a C1 licence, and it’s an ideal contender for those who like winter motorhoming too.
The Sprinter-based motorhome comes on Al-Ko’s low chassis, and we think it looks classy too. Handily, the motorhome comes with central locking too, except for the garage.
The front lounge features parallel settees, and one thing we found particularly impressive in the 565 was the lighting system, which includes ambient light and mood lighting in the spotlights.
The kitchen features a two-burner hob and a combined oven and grill, a slimline AES fridge and an extractor fan, while there is workspace for a kettle to go. However, we noted the absence of a microwave, as well as the lack of an obvious place for one to go.
Unlike other Coachman motorhomes, the washroom is only on the nearside, but it’s well lit, and a concertina door separates the shower. We particularly liked how the pump drains the water away for you, and it worked effectively when we tested it twice.
There are two very comfortable single beds at the rear, and they can be raised up for reading.
Despite having more compact dimensions compared to other Coachman models, there is still a large motorhome garage, which should cater to most bikes. There’s even the option of slightly raising the roof of the garage if you have one with a large frame, and it’s also heated and lit. Storage elsewhere in the motorhome is also impressive, including large lit wardrobes under the foot of each bed.

Mobilvetta Kea Kompakt 55
- Year: 2026
- Price: £79,995
- Sleeps: 4
- Belts: 4
- Base vehicle: Fiat Ducato
- Length: 6.39m
- Width: 2.15m
- MTPLM: 3500kg
- MiRO: 2888kg
- Payload: 612kg
Reason to buy:
- A large garage which can be accessed internally, an impressive washroom and an airy lounge
Reason to avoid:
- Kitchen lacks workspace, white upholstery can divide opinion
A winner at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2026, the Kea Kompakt 55 is Mobilvetta’s first foray into the compact motorhome sphere.
The “Kompakt” in the name refers to its width, although it only has a length of 6.39m, so it’s still fairly short. As one of the best motorhomes with a garage, it’s not surprising that this is an impressive space; not only large and heated, it also provides an external shower and a mains socket.
Inside, it comes with automatic transmission as standard, and we particularly liked the bright white upholstery found here, as it contributes to an incredibly spacious feeling inside, even though there is a drop-down bed. We were also impressed by how easy the two travel seats are to assemble and then fold away.
There is something of a compromise in the kitchen, where workspace is at a premium, but you do still get a half-height fridge with a separate freezer and a Thetford Duplex combined oven and grill.
The washroom is another nicely lit space, with mirrors, a Heki and ambient lighting creating the illusion of a bigger area. Two drainage holes are provided for the shower cubicle.
The lounge bed is fairly simple to put together, and the central section gets filled with cushions and a panel, which are otherwise stored in the garage, with no need to rearrange the seating. The drop-down bed lowers electronically, and while it does obstruct the door slightly, you can still get through it.
So what does the motorhome’s compactness mean for storage? While you don’t get overhead lockers or underseat storage in the lounge, you do get a huge cupboard in the wardrobe, which provides handy access to the garage.

Benimar Tessoro 840
- Price: £75,090
- Sleeps: 3
- Belts: 4
- Base vehicle: Ford Transit
- Length: 5.99m
- Width: 2.14m
- MTPLM: 3500kg
- MiRO: 2874kg
- Payload: 626kg
Reason to buy:
- Freedom Drive pack offers excellent value, layout works well
Reason to avoid:
- Kitchen is a bit compromised
We rated the 2025 Benimar Tessoro 840 highly, but the updated 2026 model makes what was already an appealing model even more attractive.
This is, in part, due to the Freedom Drive pack that Marquis Leisure is selling it with, where for £95 extra, you get £9,749 of kit, including alloy wheels, automatic transmission, an awning, a 200W solar panel, habitation air conditioning, and more. Impressive.
Despite being a fairly small motorhome (it only has a length of 5.99m), the Tessoro 840 still comes with a spacious front dinette and a table which provides plenty of space for three of you. The area is well-lit too, whether by a sunroof during the day or LEDs in the evening.
Ok, there is a bit of a compromise in the kitchen, with the clip-on extension not feeling the most stable. There’s also limited space for storing larger pots and pans, but this is because you get an oven and an extractor fan. We like that the half-height fridge is easy to access, though, whether inside or outside the ‘van, thanks to its placement on the kitchen peninsula.
After factoring in the size of the motorhome, the washroom manages to feel quite roomy, and two drainage holes are provided, too.
The transverse bed at the rear is comfortable, with a large headboard and adjustable spotlights.
Then, at the rear, you get a large garage, which may house a spare wheel and bed platforms, but is still a decent size. You also get a medium-sized wardrobe, two large overhead rear lockers, and more overhead lockers in the kitchen, among other storage options.

Elnagh Baron 560
- Year: 2025
- Sleeps: 4
- Belts: 4
- Base vehicle: Peugeot Boxer
- Length: 6.99m
- Width: 2.35m
- MTPLM: 3500kg
- MiRO: 2910kg
- Payload: 590kg
Reason to buy:
- A very impressive washroom, a large garage which can have its height increased by 30cm if required
Reason to avoid:
- No microwave
Elnagh only returned to the UK for the 2025 season, but it proved a successful re-entry into the UK market, as the model was a winner at our 2025 Awards.
This motorhome with a garage may be an entry-level ‘van, but we didn’t think it looked it, with its red and grey decals on an ivory exterior, complete with Elnagh’s snake logo, creating a stylish look. This continued inside too, with the base cushion piping looking smart. Cab seats swing round to face what is a comfortable lounge, and you could easily seat seven around the table, which can be slid to the side if required.
The L-shaped kitchen offers fairly good workspace, as well as a two-burner hob, a stainless steel sink, a combined oven/grill and a 137-litre slimline fridge, although there is no microwave.
There is a step up into what our reviewer, Peter Baber, called “one of the most impressive washrooms I’ve seen in a 6.99m-long ‘van”. It features a spacious offside shower, with a wheel arch offering a potential seat while showering, and two drainage holes. The main washroom also delivers, with a built-in basin, a large mirror and a circular toilet.
The transverse bed features two headboards, giving you the freedom to sleep either way, while the drop-down bed is easily lowered.
When it comes to the storage options, a large garage can be found, and we like how there’s the option of raising the bed by around 30cm if more room is required. It’s also heated and well-lit, comes with floor stays, and can be internally accessed thanks to a small door beneath the rear bed. Impressive, just as you would expect from a good motorhome garage.
The rest of the ‘van’s storage is fairly decent throughout, too, including a large hanging wardrobe by the rear bed.

Pilote Atlas A656D
- Year: 2024
- Sleeps: 4
- Belts: 4
- Base vehicle: Ford Trail Transit
- Length: 6.60m
- Width: 2.20m
- MTPLM: 3500kg
- MiRO: 3015kg
- Payload: 485kg
Reason to buy:
- Spacious shower cubicle, good storage
Reason to avoid:
- Travel seats are tricky to set up
Based on Ford’s Transit Trail base vehicle, the Atlas A656D is a motorhome with a garage that is targeted at the more adventurous. There’s a smart exterior, including red and black decals, and upon stepping inside, you will be greeted by a sporty interior.
Inside, it comes with black curtains, upholstery and cab seats, but the interior doesn’t feel too dark, thanks to the woodgrain tabletop and work surface, as well as the white locker doors.
We did find that the two travel seats on the nearside settee were a bit tricky to set up. However, when converted back, it becomes a very pleasant lounge area, where up to seven could sit.
The kitchen may have limited workspace, but we found it nicely lit, and it provides a two-burner hob, a rectangular sink, and a good-sized fridge.
There’s a drop-down double bed which will be easy to lower, and it’s a good width too. Then a second can be made up by lowering the telescopic table and using seat cushions and backrests.
There’s a step up to the washroom, and it’s at a bit of a slant, but this is so the space is maximised. The nearside shower cubicle feels spacious, even though the wheel arch protrudes a bit, and features two drainage holes.
The washroom also benefits from the slant to feel a nice size, and although the toilet’s position means the cassette hatch will most likely be within the awning.
Of course, one of the best motorhomes with a garage will have good storage, and it doesn’t disappoint in this Pilote ‘van. For instance, there are eight shelves across the rear of the ‘van, while a well-lit and nicely-sized hanging area can also be found. That’s not all, with internal access available for the garage, which, despite housing the gas bottle locker, still provides room for a bike.

Swift Voyager 584
- Year: 2023
- Sleeps: 4
- Belts: 4
- Base vehicle: Ford Transit
- Length: 7.85m
- Width: 2.37m
- MTPLM: 3500kg
- MiRO: 3076kg
- Payload: 424kg
Reason to buy:
- Plenty of storage and a comfortable lounge
Reason to avoid:
- No panel to make single beds a double, no internal access to garage
The Swift Voyager 584 is a Ford Transit-based motorhome which we think would work well for couples who want a great spec, a comfortable interior, and, of course, a good garage.
It’s a long ‘van, coming in at 7.85m, but the 155bhp engine takes hills in its stride. There are no exterior locker doors, but the large garage at the rear more than makes up for that, coming with heating, lighting, mains sockets, and even coat hooks. Thanks to its height, you could store bikes here as well, as you would expect from one of the best motorhomes with a garage. However, it’s not internally accessible.
Headroom is excellent inside, and we thought the decision to use blues and greys for the interior colour scheme created a contemporary vibe. Seating is comfortable, and the pedestal table can accommodate four at mealtimes with ease. We liked how there would be room to stretch out, too, as the table can slide back and forth if required.
Step up to the rear bedroom, and the two high single beds provide a comfortable sleeping space, albeit one without a panel to create a double. Despite being in a high position, headroom is fine too, because Swift has decided to remove overhead lockers here. The other bed can be made up in the lounge by electronically lowering the table and pulling out a platform. Eight cushions are used, with no infills required, and it’s a fairly comfy bed.
The kitchen includes a large sink, but there isn’t a huge amount of workspace, and there’s no fold-out extension either.
However, you do get a dual-fuel four-burner hob with a combined oven and grill, a two-way opening 133-litre Dometic Series 10 fridge, and some good storage.
There’s a step up to the central washroom, but it’s an area with good headroom. There may only be a single drainage hole, but the shower tray is nicely deep, which compensates.
The plus side of no internal access to the garage is that you get a set of drawers and cubbyholes around the steps between the beds. Other spaces includes a wardrobe beneath each bed, some excellent storage in the kitchen, and two further cupboards in the washroom.
