Visitor numbers revealed for the Motorhome & Caravan Show 2026

The organiser of last week’s Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC says some 95,816 visitors came to the show over the course of six days.

That is a slight dip on the figure for the October 2025 show, which attracted 96,149 visitors. But organiser NCC events says the figures show that interest in leisure vehicles remains strong, despite the challenging economic climate, with some of the 350 exhibitors reporting stronger sales than last year.

There were plenty of new releases on display for visitors to see, including Bailey’s debuting Ascent motorhome range and the new motorhomes and campervans debuting from Elddis. Auto-Sleepers also had ‘vans from its LXV anniversary range on display, which includes models such as the Auto-Sleepers Broadway EL LXV Anniversary Edition.

Karen Dodd, marketing director for NCC Events said, “It’s fantastic to hear that exhibitors have seen healthy sales and had strong interest in their new models and innovations. The atmosphere has been buzzing all week. with visitors coming from far and wide to see what’s new, shop accessories and find their new vehicle.”

Her sentiments were backed up by many at the show. Chris Long, sales director for Ace, which was only exhibiting for the second time, said, “To say we are delighted with the results would be an understatement. Sales are up and we can’t wait for the next one.”

Both Erwin Hymer UK and Coachman said sales were up on last year, with the brand saying sales were up 25%. Coachman sales director Ben Parkin said, “Our new stand was very well received, which we believe contributed to increased sales and enquiries. The superb atmosphere throughout the six-day event made it an extremely positive show for Coachman.”

Continental manufacturers were also pleased. Ben Seavers, UK sales manager for Chausson, said his company had benefited from making sure every vehicle on its stand was no heavier than 3500kg. “There’s been particular interest in the new models showcasing our IRP wood-free technology with family-friendly layouts,” he added.

Accessory suppliers also seemed pleased. E-bike brand MiRiDER said sales were up 15% on last year, with interest shown across the range. Owner Martin Higginson said, “This year has been better than expected with lots of engaged visitors. We’ve met new visitors who aren’t familiar with our brand as well as many familiar faces.”

Tickets for Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the same venue in February are now on sale on the show website.

Next year’s Motorhome & Caravan Show will run from 12 to 17 October.
