Pilote has given its campervans a completely new interior design for 2027, designed to give more harmony between the different areas in the ‘van.
Overhead lockers in the front lounge now extend all the way into the cab, while interior thermoformed wall panels create a more cosy look.
The best camper vans should provide a comfortable space to relax in, and now, Pilote has redesigned the cubbyhole in the floor of the front lounge so that you can store the clip-on table in it, creating much more leg room to unwind in.
Pilote, which has also given its A-class motorhomes a radical new exterior look for 2027, has redesigned its campervan kitchen with larger drawers, easier access to controls and aluminium finishes. Many models also come with new retainer shelves at the end of the “peninsula”.

Kitchens also come with a compressor fridge of at least 90 litres in volume.
The washroom in particular now includes a metal swinging partition which can be fastened back with a magnet rather than a plastic clip. The room has a significantly darker finish, although a large roof-light allows in plenty of daylight and provides ventilation.

Bedrooms have also been redesigned with new overhead lockers that provide an extra 10cm of headroom.
The introduction of the new fridge, together with Truma Combi DF 4000W diesel-powered heating, means you only need a single gas bottle to power the hob in the kitchen.
All cabs also now come fitted with the 7-inch Media Pack as standard. The 10-inch Media Pack, which includes a larger screen, and the 10-inch Media Plus Pack, which also includes an induction charger and a digital dashboard, are options.
Pilote is also introducing as an option Fiat’s 2.2-litre, 160hp engine, and there is a new Storm Blue optional metallic exterior paint colour.
Other recent campervan news has seen Westfalia launch two new Fiat-based campervans, which provide flexible sleeping setups to give the user maximum storage flexibility.
An Essex-based campervan has also won a National Service Excellence Award at the HSBC UK Small Business Growth Awards. Vanlife Conversions was presented with the award by Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies MBE.
